Dylong, A - Marie Königin von Hannover

Dylong, A - Marie Königin von Hannover
Every year many people go to Castle Marienburg, in the south of Hanover. This castle is named after the last Queen of Hanover, Queen Marie. King George V. gave his wife the castle on her 39th birthday, not much is known about the life of Queen Marie. On the occasion of her 200th birthday, this biography was published. Her birth in the province of Thüringen, her youth, the love for this blind crown prince George, her marriage, the seperation with her husband during the war and the particularly happy years before the accession to the throne. Her work as a queen, the exile in Austria and a widow of almost 30 years are all covered in this book. German language, paperback, 95 pages, 21x21cm, illustrated.
