Prince Christophe de Grèce, Ma famille coté cours
Prince Christophe (1888-1940), the youngest child of King George I of Greece and the Grand Duchess Olga of Russia, grew up between the Greek kingdom of Denmark - of which his grandfather was king - and imperial Russia. Cousin to most of the European monarchs, he was also staying with his aunt, Queen Alix, wife of Edward VII of England. When his brother, King Constantine I, was dethroned in 1917, the royal family of Greece was forced into exile. Prince Christophe of Greece, remarried in 1929 to Princess Françoise d'Orléans, sister of the Count of Paris. A good observer and excellent critic, clear, charming and cheerful in nature, he witnesses the revolutions of the European monarchies and gives a poignant testimony, vivid and very personal. Introduction by Prince Michael of Greece, son of the author. Paperback edition, in French, size 17x24cm, black and white photos of the Greek royal family.
