Hall, Coryne/Beéche, Arturo - Royal Collections volume 2
The Romanovs – An Imperial Tragedy (Royal Collections, Volume II) by Coryne Hall and Arturo E. Beéche. It is this phenomenal collection of images that forms the foundation from which this book grew. The authors have painstakingly looked through thousands of rare images. They chose countless images that had not been published before, as well as some better-known ones. This was done in an effort to put together a project like no other. The Romanovs – An Imperial Tragedy (Royal Collections, Volume II) is a unique work of pictorial biography. It brings to life not just the main line Romanovs, but also all the other, lesser-known branches of the family. Photos from the publisher's own archive (he purchased entire archives, among them those of: Marie Alexandrovna, Helen Vladimirovna, Andrei Alexandrovich, Xenia Alexandrovna, Olga Alexandrovna, Olga Konstantinovna, Konstantin Konstantinovich, Vsevelod Ioannovich, and Gabriel Konstantinovich) In nearly 300 pages are displayed 617 photographs of all the Romanovs from Tsar Nicholas I to the outbreak of the February Revolution. This photographic journey, accompanied by very interesting stories, provides the reader with what will be the most comprehensive book ever published on the Russian Imperial Family. Gebonden, Engelstalig.
